Top bid for EC site: $193.3m

THE tender for an executive condominium (EC) site in Sengkang, near Buangkok MRT Station, attracted eleven bids.
Opal Star and Lum Chang Building Contractors put in the top bid of $193.28 million.
Other bidders include Hoi Hup Realty , Sim Lian Land and ChoiceHomes Investments.
The 19,000 sq m site, which can be developed into 520 EC units, is one MRT stop away from Sengkang Central.
ECs are making a comeback after a hiatus of almost five years, as the Government moves to ramp up flat supply for middle-income home buyers.
