The machines are new, everything is ok but as times go by, PAP may be no more, things change, problems surface , no one can promise newater is safe !
Sea water around sinkapore is prone to oil leak and pollution either, so you see ! You cannot guarantee !

Potable water from JB is the best---cheap and faster but PAP charge the sinkapore consumers like cutting throats !
Even if you can produce sai chwee for long, one must be humble to keep the fresh water for standby and friendship.

To just cut the agreement to save some face make you a hero of all time in sinkapore history?

If I am ah Loong, I would ask for the 2011 water contract to be renewed like on 5 to 10 years basics and review. This is the best thing in life becos water is life, sai chwee is not a good option .


Sai chwee is to anger people out of face, out of dignity , out of revenge, but they don’t make sense if you want a better cleaner drink.
They can claim all they can sai chwee is perfect but why resort to big time sai chwee drinking when we can pay for a better choice !
Sai chwee still have to pump to catching area right ! Sai chwee can be a humble pie---a standby ration when the healthy choice become rare !
Railway land is also useless except the station at TP may be can build some rental flats.

If PAP collapsed someday soon, new govt should rethink the old water contract again.

When the japanese threatened to cut the water supply from malaysia, the british caved in and surrendered. Furthered we had enough of those UMNO agitated nonsense threatening to cut off our water supply every now and then. If they carried out the threat and we suffer a shortage of water, war would be imminent. Do you want such thing to happen?
