Why do you think so? I don't think it is right to look at the current manpower of workers' party.
Whichever party that becomes the ruling party... the elites will swarm to them like bees. The first to defect will be the many civil servants whom i believe the majority are currently PAP members. George Yeo will join WP and apply for Minister post at half the salary.

Suppose WP continues to grow, i am sure they will attract high caliber personnel along the way. If WP does take over the Government one day, i am sure they will be more than ready with higher caliber personnel at their disposal. The more important thing is how long the "in touch" thing can sustain. History tells everything. PAP used to be in touch too. Can they do a re-touch? That holds the key to how long they can continue to govern SG. The last generation made the choice for us. The choice we make now will affect the next generation.
