The Chinese discovered gun powder, while looking to transform some metals into GOLD, the Alchemists must have blasted their brains out. The Chinese sailors sailed round the Cape Of Good Hope, using the compass & star charts before Magellan or Vasco Da Game or that 'accidental' discovery of the New World..Columbus.

The Chinese invented a lot of things & were one of the most civilised country on this earth...but like the saying goes, instead of the "monkeys" coming down the trees & evolved into something better...the "monkeys" went back to the trees & became, something worse....:p
