Three youths arrested for robbery

SINGAPORE : Three youths, aged between 17 and 19, have been arrested for robbery with hurt.
Police said they received a report on September 5 at 1.14am.
A 21-year-old man said he and his friend were robbed by three men in a shopping mall located along Orchard Road.
The suspects had assaulted the victims before robbing them of S$230.
On Tuesday, at about 1am, police officers mounted an operation at Woodlands Avenue 6 and Telok Blangah Crescent.
A male suspect and his two accomplices were arrested.
Investigations are ongoing.
Anyone who is convicted for robbery with hurt can be jailed a maximum of 20 years and be given a minimum of 12 strokes of the cane.
