Jakarta (Antara) - The commissioner of National Police Committee Adrianus Meliala revealed that there are three National Police Chief candidates with "fat accounts".

"There are three names which indicated have a 'fat accounts," Meliala said here on Monday while submitting his wealth reports of state officials to Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Earlier there are nine candidates of National Police Chief who already submitted their wealth reports to the Commission.

"We who represents the public who mentioned that there are reports on the involved candidates' 'fat accounts', we relayed it to the President. If the involved candidates want to lie it out it is all on them, we do not have any rights to interrogated them, we did not find fault, if they do lie then they will be responsible in front of the public, the matter is there are three names," he said.

However, Meliala refused to call the names of the allegedly candidates with "fat accounts".

"I do not want to call the name, we met them and received their explanation on the money, well we just fairly reported what we got to the President," he said.

He also said that his committee already submitted the reports to the Coordinating Ministry of Political, Security and Legal Affairs and would proceed to the President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

There are nine candidates who already submitted their wealth report to the Corruption Eradication Commission.

President Yudhoyono said that he will replace the current National Police Chief Gen. Timur Pradopo in August or September 2013, which is faster than the Pradopo's retirement in January 2014.
