Ex-IPP director Goh Jin Hian wins appeal, court says firm failed to prove his breach caused losses
Summary
Finally after cross-checking the facts, we can confirm that Pinky and Wooden Goh manipulated the kangaroo court. The latter found Goh Jin Hian to be not liable to pay the quantum of damages sought for by the now insolvent company.
The long version
Shortly after the court of law ruled Goh Jin Hian to be liable to pay about US$146 million in damages to his former company, Wooden Goh approached Pinky for help.
At first both Pinky and Empress Ho didn't want to be involved with it. They felt they had nothing to gain from it.
But Wooden Goh still had a few cards up his sleeve.
He threatened to reveal to Sinkies that Operation Spectrum a.k.a. 1987 Marxist Conspiracy was entirely a fabrication of Lee Con You. [cf. ICJ mission to Singapore dismisses allegations of ‘Marxist conspiracy’]
Moreover Wooden Goh threatened to reveal that Familee stashed most of its US$300 million in Swiss bank accounts. Both Pinky and Empress Ho left only about 20 million USD in Sinkie bank accounts for their "operating expenses".
Wooden Goh was aware that relatives claimed they had access to Empress Ho. They did this in order to gain unfair advantages in their business dealings in Southeast Asia and China.
Last but not least, Empress Ho owns multiple luxury properties in Malaysia that were bought at steep discounts based on her good friendship with Rosmah Mansor, wife of the world's Number One kleptocrat.
After a lengthy discussion with Empress Ho, Pinky had no choice but to summon the judiciary to see how Goh Jin Hian could be exonerated from paying damages of about 146 million USD to his former company.
