When times are hard, people have to learn to adapt in order to compete.

Sinkies should prove themselves to be even more resilient than the foreigners and go 20 to a flat, survive on bread and water and walk or cycle to work to lower their living expenses even further.

This will enable them to work for even less than the foreigners who, when faced with falling wages, will decide that it is not worth their while to come to Singapore to seek work. They'll all leave the country and Singaporeans can then claim back what is rightfully theirs.

That is how you defeat an enemy. You do not do it by bleating on line or writing to Gilbert Goh about how unfair and cruel life is.
