A THIEF defecated in front of a house in Taiwan after he failed to break into two cars parked there, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.

The owner of the house checked the CCTV and saw the man defecate in front of the house after he could not open the car doors, it reported.

The thief hid when several people walked past the house but returned to the position near the cars to finish his “job”.

The owner said some thieves would “leave something behind” if they failed to steal anything as they believed that it would rid themselves of bad luck.

The man, who had two daughters aged four and seven, drank weedkiller at his home in Kuala Kangsar at noon over the weekend.

Sources said the man suspected his wife was having an affair after she went back to her hometown recently.

However, the man’s family members said the couple was very loving and that it was work pressure that had driven him to suicide.

A family member said the wife, who came back to Malaysia, was loyal to her husband and had worked part-time to support the family.
