The Word "OFF-PEAK" Don't Apply To Our Roads Any More. Always a Mad Rush.

The word "OFF-PEAK" doesn't apply to our roads anymore. It did about 8 years ago when I could use it as a retiree. Not now any more. So sad.

The words , "Heavy Traffic Up TO..............." is a big joke and common feature on the road-signs on highways. It is a sick joke today.

Shame on LTA and clowns like Yamahmee. The LTA do not have to use it anymore during so-called "off-peak" traffic for there simply isn't any OFF-PEAK today. Every time, even past midnight is PEAK period. An example of a small 2-room flat meant for 4 currently being used by 12 people.

The LTA (Yamahmee) uses these reason to raise ERPs and poor Singaporeans accept it. Yamahmee must be a GREATEST AVIATOR from RSAF.

Roads meant for an X number of road-users are today jam-packed with so many drivers, many of them foreigners with their "alien" driving habits.

These are the "additional anak Singapura from outside" that are now part of the overall population. Only we drivers know...........Woe betide us...

The PAP leaders know nothing about traffic jams for they are escorted by blaring security-cars. Only we users know about the shitty situation on the roads daily. I just hate to drive............nowadays............

Surprising, ERPs are raised and they blame the Singaporeans for abusing the roads.

Just for how may vehicles were these roads made in the first place????

Did the increase in population (and granting driving licences to people from corrupted nations like India, China, Malaysia, etc, that form today's crowd on our highways) have anyhting to do with this. I am sure forummers will agree with me in the affirmative.

We have allowed our roads to become prostitutes to the many new-comers that are here.

What about the 6.9 million that are considered "AKAN DATANG or COMING SOON".

Total Choas..............But the blame will still be on us. The PAP think we are STUPID SIMPLETONS that can be bought over by "SPECIAL PAYMENTS"

SINGAPOREANS - please take that money and VOTE the PAP out.

These are HARD TRUTHS. Do it fast or you will REPENT

This shows what a wealthy and dynamic country Singapore is and for that we have to thank the PAP.

If the economy went into a tail spin, businesses would close, people would move out, home prices would fall, unemployment would rise, the currency would collapse. Is that the prospect you want your children to inherit?

If you know what is good for you, vote for the PAP for a secure and dynamic future for the generations to come.

thanks for the correction! yes, times square never sleeps and epitomizes new york's 24 by 7, can-do attitude. sg has the potential of becoming multiple time squares, from sim lim square to simei square to sembawang square. folks would just love to hang around with beer mugs or coffee cups if kopitiams, kiosks and klark kuay were to open past midnight to the wee hours of the morning. there's so much to talk about and so many things to do. 8 to 5 is hardly enough. i am proposing that sg should try out room and bed resource sharing based on time division multiplex. some can sleep in the same room and bed while their co-occupants are awake somewhere drinking, working, socializing or chatting away. add frequency division, where co-occupants optimize room and bed resources based on frequency of occupance, singapore can be maximized to hold 12 million individuals.

off peak only apply to the 3 days of CNY.the roads and mrt are decently empty.
362 days are all peak
