It doesn't matter if he screwed up the population growth in 2030 for everything PAP touch is gold and good for the people. LKY has done a good job in the past 50 years of Singapore and his son LHL will do a better job than his father. After all he has the old man as mentor to help him.

70% of Singapore businesses are owned by GLC which provide food on the table for the people which we have to greatly appreciate to have a good and caring government who also run businesses and enterprises. Without PAP Singapore was doomed long time ago.

The PAP is doing a good job of managing Singapore. Just look at the statistics. We had the fastest recovery in Asia since 2009 and our GDP growth has been the quickest to rebound.


So let us rally behind our government. Let us support the PAP! Let's give 3 big cheers to PM LEE!

Maybe I'm reading too much into the situation, but could be that Sam is telling forummers to exercise their own brains and take an independent stand no matter what other people's views are, including those of people who are supposedly in positions of authority. In other words, don't be a sheep.

The PAP facade may still be standing but behind the glitz lies a party in disarray. They're still wondering what hit them after the latest in a series of electoral defeats which show beyond a shadow of doubt that the tide has turned against them and their credibility is zilch.

Electoral defeats are of no consequence. The PAP is brave enough to push through unpopular policies that benefit Singaporeans in the long term. When people realize the goodness of PAP's policies, PAP will win back those seats.
