[h=2]The kind of plans implemented by PAP for S’poreans[/h]

Speaking on Thursday (Aug 20) at the unveiling of the People’s Action Party’s
candidates for Jurong GRC and Bukit Batok SMC, Tharman called on S’poreans to
vote for the PAP so it can see through the plans that it has implemented as
these are “multi-year” efforts which he believes represent “the way Singapore
should progress”.
Will he care to explain to the electorate if these plans include:
1. Upgrading of CECA to open the country’s doors wider to Indian nationals in
127 PMET sectors;
2. Implementation of the ASEAN FTA to open the doors to ASEAN job
seekers;
3. Plans for nuclear power and underground living option;
4. Implementing the 6.9m population plan;
5. Imposing controls on what kind of news we read and hear.
All these plans have been formulated and pushed through unilaterally by the
PAP because it has an overwhelming majority in the Parliament.
If we give it this overwhelming majority again this GE, you put the future of
your children and grandchildren at risk as it is equivalent to giving the PAP a
blank cheque.
Think carefully when you cast your vote in the coming GE.
