actually it is the post regarding Singapore merger with Mudland that inspired this post.

If we had not merge with Mudland / Mudland rejected our application to merge in 1963, where would we be now?

Would we have gained independence in 1965? Or after Brunei in 1984?

If we are together, We wont be needing foreign "Talents", we need not worry about falling birth rate.. Cars would be cheaper, Housing would be cheaper, OUR LAND IS HUGE, I and you can buy a house with a huge land attached to it, We can plant fruits and veg, We can speed and later pay off a cop if we are caught, We can hire killers to take care of bigots like rasta-I if we find out who he is, Our daily necessities are cheaper, we got a race-track, foreigners dont dare fuck around with us, we dont need to worry about you and me getting into trouble and the crowd just stand around and use eye power, no N.s, No cpf b.s, no high cost of medical, Way of life is more chill out.

If together Singapore will be slightly better KL/Penang. Of course car/property will be cheaper. But will Singaporean want it? Some will like it some will not. There nothing we can do maybe migrate is the best solution. If cannot change the environment then find a environment suit to oneself.

Isnt it the same case here in Singapore? That is one reason why minorities arent really effected by all this foreign influx..Cos we are use to it. Sadly but thats the case.
