Ok, here I am stirring the pot again on a slow moving Saturday ….

Forums look great but can we keep the garbage and pollutants to a minimum?

What is bugging me lately is that there are loads of posts on the forum that are one liner polluted with profanity.

Honestly, I don't mind a few, but there are way too many and a lot of them are repeated over and over across threads.

Give me a break, will you?

I can't even finish reading a real thread without being overwhelming by the stench and a sea off crap. (OK, this
sentence is guaranteed to bring out the hornets!)

Did I manage to stir the nest?

How's this for a start to the festive countdown?

It's just that no one has much things to talk about, that is why there are so many of them. There is also no moderation to sent such threads to the rubbish dump.

Imagine that this thread for example http://sammyboy.com/showthread.php?114661-Apologies-for-the-Ban goes to the rubbish heap but so many here got away. There is simply no consistency here, and I think the moderators know not what they are doing.

you might like to use Could or Should rather than Can.

Could is used to make suggestions.
Should expresses advisability.
Can expresses ability.

And I'm telling you that the Mods don't vet content. If it isn't reported, the mods may never read the thread in order to assess where it should go.
