The Fool in her capacity as minister complains that " AHTC got a 'red band' for its collection of service and conservancy charges (S&CC). More than half of the AHTC's monthly S&CC collectible is overdue for three months or longer."
Unlike the PAP-managed wards which are quick to spend money on sending legal warning (which cost taxpayer money) to residents for late payments, the AHTC has demonstrated a compassionate approach in handling delinquencies. The AHTC town council should be commended for a resident-centred approach in management. Despite this supposedly 'big problem', residents have been served adequately. AHTC was able to do just as good and better than the PAP-run wards with less money. That's efficient shown, unlike that of the PAP which talked with little to show.
The Fool wants us to forget about AIM. AIM is the issue - there are so many questions that remains unanswered. Where is the benefit derived from selling a software developed with taxpayer money to a PAP-company for a song? And why slap the PAP-run town councils with a management fee? They didn't have to pay that fee last time when they owned the software.
