East side esp Tampinese, Simei, Paris Ris... I reckon have a very large no. of New voters or people around the age of Early 20s to Early 30s... For example most residents of Simei, Pasir ris and Tampinese entered the estate between 1988 to 1993, This residents were mainly Young Families with kids ranging from 1 to 10yrs old and are consider from middle income families(The kids here are now all grown up and could have influenced their family to vote for opp). Is this the reason that East side vote for the Opp is slightly more then the ruling then compared to the West, Where there are more lower income families and have a more older residents base? Thier kids are slightly more older then the Kids from the EAST. According to most people, Its the Singapore Youth that is pushing the Government and expect more out of them then the slightly older and uneducated Singaporeans.
