'Rain' in train: Leaking aircon vent makes wet mess on MRT
An aircon vent in an MRT train on the North East Line was leaking so badly that it seemed like it was raining in the cabin last Monday evening (May 16).
STOMPer safetystartswithme2011 said that at least half a glass of water would spill out whenever the train moved off or slowed down.

"It happened on May 16 at around 7.30pm. This NEL train (car 73038) departed from Punggol.
"Every time the train would leave a station and stop at a station, at least half a glass worth of water would pour out from above.
"A SBS Transit train officer reported the incident to his superior at Punggol but no action was taken.
"I alighted at Chinatown and didn't see anyone from SBS Transit coming to rectify the issue. What would have happened if a passenger had slipped and fell?
"Why there was no immediate response from SBS Transit? Hope LTA can look into this matter."
