Journalists face dangers around the world every day, but Mexico has become one of the most deadly places for reporters.

In the eastern state of Veracruz, 10 journalists have been murdered in just three years.

The widow of the latest victim, Goyo Jimenez, insists her husband was targeted because he was working on reports into human trafficking and kidnapping.

Al Jazeera's David Mercer reports from Xalapa, Mexico.
