There are so many grouses, but when it comes to the rubber meets the road, 70% will still write the same model answer - PAP is the best.
70% vote for the PAP because they feel that it is better to stick to the proven than to go for the untried. Unless there is someone who knows the inside workings of the PAP and is willing to tell the whole story that the tried and proven is not magic, neither it is unattainable. That someone is LHY.
He could almost single-handedly bring down LHL if he were to go all the way, but he saw the light. He withheld his sword. If he were to go with an opposition party, that will certainly spell big trouble for the PAP. LHY will get his wish fulfilled. The Oxley house will be demolished. Everyone will say it is done according to the late LKY's will. The deal is done. LHY will not join an Opposition party.
