Serious The 10 Commandments - See if you pass

What happen?
No Christians answering my question?
Why?

So does that mean in truth there is no Christian?
All fake?

Let me answer this.
The jews are master manipulators. In the old days, they manipulate using religion.
Today, its mass media, entertainment, movies.
So although jews wrote the ten commandments, they openly violate it today as they were the authors.

Just believe and accept Christ into your life and abide in him always. Then you'll automatically have fulfilled all the 10 Commandments and righteousness and holiness will be credited to your spiritual account.

I am just kaypoh leh.

I see so many Christians proclaiming to be devout Christians.
But I have yet to come across anyone who has even achieved 80% of the 10 Commandments
You pass? Forget about 100% --- can get 80%?
80% distinction ok

If no one leeply then I say all are fake Christians.
Anyone who say he got even 80% then I salute him because he is trying his best.

I think most Christians will fail 6, 7, 9 and 10.

  1. I am the Lord thy God! Thou shalt have no other Gods but me!
  2. Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain!
  3. Thou shalt keep the Sabbath Day holy!
  4. Thou shalt honor father and mother!
  5. Thou shalt not kill!
  6. Thou shalt not commit adultery!
  7. Thou shalt not steal!
  8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor!
  9. Do not let thyself lust after thy neighbor’s wife!
  10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, nor his farm, nor his cattle, nor anything that is his!

If anyone can pass, then Jesus needn't come to this world to die. And that person will replace Jesus. Even for Christians, they will still continue to sin so long as they are in this physical body. But their sins are no longer counted against them as Jesus had bore them and paid the price for it at the cross. Not only that, His righteousness and holiness are imputed onto the believer the moment he/she believes and accepts Christ as Lord and Saviour. The key is to remain in Christ 24/7 and His blood will be available to cleanse you from your sins. That's the gospel of salvation. But how many Christians can live out the reality of the finished work of Christ at the cross? Many are just lukewarm Sunday church goers.

What an easy way out.

But please tell me how many of the 10 commandments have you complied with.
They are not difficult to comply at all.

Which commandment is impossible for you to comply?

No: 5?

Zero! Like I said, if I can do it, I'll be the next Jesus Christ.

What if one is lusting, thinking about piaking and creampie-ing the CECA Bu neighbour while her husband is out there stealing sinkies' lunch? Asking for friend.....

I have 90% pass rate.
Walanweeeiiiiiiii
Not bad
90% distinction. Sure also can admit to Raffles School.

But jokes aside will go to heaven very likely
Try a little harder, then the gates of heaven will automatically open to you.

Can confess which one you did not make it?
You know me I very kaypoh one.
I suspect no: 9
lol

What an easy way out knowing no one will follow the 10 commandments.
Then why even have them.

No wonder Christians have continued to cause misery and wreck havoc around the world because they have no spiritual guidance or prohibitions --- Look no further than Britain and the USA.

All I have to say then is "Jesus is my saviour".
I also have faith in Jesus Christ (anyone can say that) and I am on the road to Heaven. No, I already have a spot reserved for me in Heaven.

But then why do I have to work hard to earn a living. Why not just laze around and money will drop from heaven. It does not work that way.

You have to put in some effort to earn a living. Similarly, just by proclaiming I am a Christian does not guarantee that I will go straight to heaven. A great deal of effort to be a good human must be put in which even then does not guarantee a spot in heaven.

But just wait you will know if you are in Heaven or Hell in the not too distant future which will arrive before you even realize it without even trying to be a good person.

Christian Myth #3 – Christians Must Keep the 10 Commandments

Are Christians supposed to obey the 10 Commandments? Is our daily life supposed to be filled with pressure to follow certain rules? For example, imagine waking up every day with a husband whose first words are, “I have a list of things for you to do today. I am going to follow you around to make sure you do them perfectly. I will point out every mistake to you. And by the way, I will not lift a finger to help you. Have a good day!” Would you want to be in a relationship like that every day? Yet, that’s what it is like to be married to Mr. Law.

Christians obeying the 10 Commandments is such a touchy subject that it’s important to understand what God says in the Bible. Let’s start by looking at Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:17-18 and then Paul’s words in 1 Timothy 1:9:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” (NIV)

“Realizing the fact that the law is not made for a righteous person…” (NAS)

According to Scripture, there is only one way to be a righteous person – through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through our obedience. Therefore, the 10 Commandments are NOT for Christians.

In contrast, what if you woke up every day to a husband whose first words are, “I love you so much! Let’s go have some breakfast together. While we are enjoying each other, I will share with you some things I want you to do today. But, don’t worry about them. I will not only go with you, but I will actually do each one through you if you will trust me. And if you make a mistake, I will gently let you know. But, no matter what, don’t forget that I love you.”

Who wants to be in that kind of relationship? It’s a no-brainer. This is what it’s like being married to Mr. Grace – who is Jesus!

Yet, some Christians will argue that we only have to keep the law and 10 Commandments for our sanctification (spiritual growth), but not our justification (salvation). Galatians 3:24-25 says:

“So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.”

Can it be any clearer? Once we come to faith in Christ, we are not obligated to keep the 10 Commandments! God has given us something much better than trying to keep a list of laws. According to Hebrews 10:16:

“This is the covenant that I will make with them: After those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, And on their mind I will write them,”

God has actually written the Law on our hearts. This is referring to our new creation identity in Christ, which gives us the desire to obey Jesus in us. You have Jesus within you so that you can love God, other people, and yourself appropriately. And, according to Romans 13:8-10, love always fulfills the law.

Take a moment today to ask Jesus to live His life through you in the power of the Holy Spirit by faith (not by feelings). When you do, you will live out the 10 Commandments without even thinking about them! Let go of the law today and enjoy your union with Jesus!
