these are high frequency trading using computer and networking technology. despite, many crying foul, there is not any single rule that they break. their advantage over others is speed of transaction.

unlike the illegal colluding of broker firms. i heard last time, SIMEX floor traders were involved in scams like that before internet trading become popular to the public.
