sg has a super majority gov of more than 69% of the votes owning more than 69% of the land while hk has a prc-supported gov with absolute authority but sucking up to 6.9 families which own more than 69% of the land. that is the difference. you can’t have billionaire tycoons and their families build “affordable” housing on their precious land. it doesn’t work that way. duh.
