I have my doubts about this one. I have driven a Tesla and you hardly ever need to use the brakes. The regenerative braking does most of the work in almost all instances.

Something was holding the accelerator pedal down for the car to behave like that. Either a mulfunction or driver error. Nothing to do with brake failure.
