A minimally invasive procedure has been developed to treat tennis elbow and help relieve pain.
Damaged tissue is identified via ultrasound imaging, and removed by inserting a probe the size of a toothpick. The whole procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and takes 15 to 20 minutes.
The procedure was developed by the Singapore General Hospital, in partnership with the Mayo Clinic in America.
Tennis elbow occurs when the tendons in the elbow are overworked, and - contrary to its name - mostly occurs in people who do not play tennis.
a simple thing like this also needs so much intervention.
i had tennis elbow many times and it healed spontaneously!!!!
no need any treatment at all!!!
