Teen arrested for slew of offences

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 17-year-old male suspected of involvement in two cases of armed robbery, a case of outrage of modesty and a case of snatch theft.
Police said on Thursday that all four cases were allegedly committed on May 23 in Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Batok.
The first case was reported at about 2pm.
A 19-year-old female said she was robbed of her mobile phone at knife-point along Choa Chu Kang Crescent.
At about 3pm, a 16-year-old female reported that she was molested and assaulted by an unknown male along Bukit Batok St 31.
Both victims said the suspect was wearing a grey T-shirt, blue jeans and a cap.
The suspect was arrested at about 4.45pm, in the vicinity of Bukit Batok Street 31.
Police found a pen-knife, a mobile phone belonging to the first victim, and a woman's red wallet.
Following the arrest, another two female victims lodged separate police reports at Hong Kah North Neighbourhood Police Post.
A 16-year-old female reported that she was robbed at knife-point and molested at about 2.55pm along Bukit Batok Street 31.
A 23-year-old female reported that her red wallet was snatched from her along Bukit Batok Street 34.
The suspect is believed to be involved in both these cases.
He will be charged in Court on May 25 with armed robbery.
