A woman shouted: 'Slow down', at Tay Poh Loon as he parked his car in the Arab Street area. He went up to her and said she was lucky that she was a woman and to escape a beating from him.

The technician then drove off but returned twice in quick succession.

The first time, he slapped video editor Joshua Goh Ishan. The second time, he brandished a 55cm-long stainless steel truncheon.

Tay, 35, was on Monday, jailed for a month. He had pleaded guilty for having the weapon in his possession and causing hurt to a person.
