The mouth follows the heart. If the heart is 'no good' or 'not there', don't expect good things to come out from the mouth. The vicious personal attacks on the Oppos during the GE rallies by the FAP candidates is a case in point. Imagine a Parliament filled with such people, will SGs' interests be served - or compromised? Look no further than the misery and problems that ordinary SGs are facing today and the answer is clear.

[h=2]PAP 'needs to change way it talks'[/h]

THE People's Action Party (PAP) needs to change the way it communicates with people, said Social and Family Development Minister Tan Chuan-Jin yesterday.

Replying to a question at a Marine Parade GRC press conference on the kind of leadership style the PAP should adopt in the years to come, Mr Tan said that society today is very different from that in the past and that the party's leadership style has to evolve.

"All of us will have our own individual personalities and approaches, but... the level of engagement must continue," said Mr Tan, who was identified by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at his Tuesday lunchtime rally as part of the nucleus of next-generation leaders.

"You can't lead from a top-down perspective. As leaders, you must have the courage to make the decisions because, ultimately, you can't be just going back and forth perpetually, but you do need to engage."

=> Until now then they know? And will they suffer from amnesia again if they win landslide? Does any of the FAP minister have the COURAGE to cast aside their multi-million-dollar, and do the right thing to genuinely serve the interests of ordinary SGs? Can they stand the tribulations that CSJ and other Alternative candidates have gone through to fight for freedom and to speak up for SGs through decades? Does any of the FAP candidates have the 'iron in them' in the words of LKY - but with a compassion at the same time - which CSJ has amply demonstrated to possess? Apart from calling SGs daft, siding with foreigners and insulting SGs, etc.

Mr Tan said the process of engagement is vital because it is about "respecting other people's views because we all want to be part of something".

"Nobody wants to be a digit, I don't want to be just a cog in the machinery, we all want to feel that we can make (a) difference to our own lives and that we actually matter," he added.

=> Digit...sounds familiar, right?

"And so, we also do need to change the way we converse and the way we talk. As you know, we have a lot of statistics and a lot of data and a lot of ideas... But sometimes, yes, it's logical, but where am I in the whole process as you're talking?"

=> Distorted stats like lumping SGs with PRs to obfuscate the true unemployment situation of SGs? Lots of ideas? To fix the Oppos?

Giving an example, Mr Tan said that while Singapore's unemployment rate is low at 2.9 per cent, he was "always very mindful" that there was no point telling an unemployed person the rate is 2.9 per cent, because unemployment to him is 100 per cent until he gets a job.

=> What about saying the elderly collecting cardboards for a living as 'exercising'?

"So it's important for us, in a way, to communicate... to really look hard at the way we put things across," said Mr Tan.

The process of engagement is really about "connecting better with our people because you need to walk the journey side by side", the minister added. "It's not a top-down approach. And, in many ways, we need to build on that."

Even so, Mr Tan said the reason for which the PAP is pushing across policies and making adjustments is "always for the people".
"I think that should be the focus," he said.

=> FAP is not called Foreigner Action Party for nothing. Always for the people (foreigners).

Good luck getting your little chihuahuas such as Jason Chua and Calvin Cheng to pipe down.

PAP 'needs to change way it talks'

THE People's Action Party (PAP) needs to change the way it communicates with people, said Social and Family Development Minister Tan Chuan-Jin yesterday.
No, DUMBO! Don't use the classic "miscommunication" on us. Read my lips: it's all about the economy, dumbo!

Replying to a question at a Marine Parade GRC press conference on the kind of leadership style the PAP should adopt in the years to come, Mr Tan said that society today is very different from that in the past and that the party's leadership style has to evolve.
No, again, DUMBO. Society evolves everyday, not every 4 years. In so saying, you are confirming that you have no feel for the ground, don't understand the situation, and just want to ram through.

"All of us will have our own individual personalities and approaches, but... the level of engagement must continue," said Mr Tan, who was identified by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at his Tuesday lunchtime rally as part of the nucleus of next-generation leaders.
You mean you did not realise that all of you are individual personalities? Oh, I thought there's no group think in the PAP? And heaven save us if you are one of the next generation of leaders!

"You can't lead from a top-down perspective. As leaders, you must have the courage to make the decisions because, ultimately, you can't be just going back and forth perpetually, but you do need to engage."
What a load of mumbo jumbo cross talk. Do you even know what you are saying?

Mr Tan said the process of engagement is vital because it is about "respecting other people's views because we all want to be part of something".
RESPECTING OTHER PEOPLE'S VIESWS? What is THAT? 6.9MILLION - remember the way it was sneaked behind our backs?

"Nobody wants to be a digit, I don't want to be just a cog in the machinery, we all want to feel that we can make (a) difference to our own lives and that we actually matter," he added.
Really, dumbo, YOU are just a cog in the PAP machinery. Save the rest of the bovine expulsion.

"And so, we also do need to change the way we converse and the way we talk. REALLY? SURE?

As you know, we have a lot of statistics and a lot of data and a lot of ideas...
REALLY? For starters tell us the population breakdown data in terms of SGs, FTs, PRs etc

But sometimes, yes, it's logical, but where am I in the whole process as you're talking?"

"So it's important for us, in a way, to communicate... to really look hard at the way we put things across," said Mr Tan.
THIS is the mother of all cop out motherhood statements. It is the 'winning' combination of the PAP's anti-citizen policies
and the manner and the choice of words when communicating with us, daft! It is NOT communications pe se!

The process of engagement is really about "connecting better with our people because you need to walk the journey side by side",
You seriously think you will be back at MOM next week to walk with us?

the minister added. "It's not a top-down approach. And, in many ways, we need to build on that."
50 years and you need to build on that?

Even so, Mr Tan said the reason for which the PAP is pushing across policies and making adjustments is "always for the people".
"Always fcuk the people" you mean?

"I think that should be the focus," he said.
Yes, that will be the FUKUS
