Yeah I remember those days. The Elections Dept stipulated the logo/symbol Independent candidates can use. Donkey, elephant, flower, etc. Really laughable symbols. Ah Siong the spoiler shall be the donkey.

The Chiams are a known quantity & if they are running there again, I would vote for them & not for the PAP.

I bet that there are many out there who feel the same way. This is especially true when the lifes of Sporeans got harder since the last GE.

I hope they win back Potong Pasir. They like to say PAP is synonymous with Singapore. In the same way, Potong Pasir is synonymous with the Chiams.

On a serious note, Sitoh has made inroads in PP the last 4 years so it will not be easy for SPP/Lena to win back the SMC....

I agree with you on this.The Chiams seem to treat Potong Pasir as their own. Complacency sets in and the rest is as we know it. Lina Chiam was put up as their candidate and she lost. Never mind she became a NCMP. Fact is despite being Chiam's wife, she still lost.
