Tan Jee Say’s campaign poster ’smeared’ at Chulia Street

A campaign poster of pro-Singaporean candidate Tan Jee Say at
Chulia Street outside UOB plaza has been “smeared” with an unknown red liquid:
The incident sparked a massive outrage among netizens with many urging
Mr Tan Jee Say to lodge a police report. Siow Jia Rui wrote on TR Facebook:
“Police should investigate and bring to justice those responsible, just like those
who were brought to justice for defacing PAP posters during the GE.
Police must be fair to all and not treat some incidents with more importance…”
Lionel Goh was obviously peeved:

“I have the right to say this, mind you, because I don’t go around defacing
the campaigning posters of candidates I do not like. Some folks may have
gone astray from the true meaning & mechanics of Democracy but that
doesn’t mean we should sink down to their level. Boo to whatever did this.”

When PAP-endorsed presidential candidate Tony Tan was booed by
Singaporeans on Nomination Day, the state media quickly jumped to
his defence and urged the other candidates to ‘condemn’ the booing.

What do they think of this defacement of Mr Tan Jee Say’s photo now?
