Stomper Jayneew has been noticing a vegetable stall holder sorting vegetables on the road, next to a rubbish collection centre at Blk 201C Tampines Street 21.

He said:

"Apparently, this goes on on a daily basis, mostly in the mornings, and the vegetables are being delivered to cooked food stalls nearby.

"Such practice poses hygiene problems as most of us know for a fact that cooked food stalls normally do not wash the vegetables before cooking."

i dun know
most vege are cook in singapore
of course unless you eat western vege
then not wash

I guess people are used to drinking recycled sewage and thus view dustbin-flavoured vege as insignifcant.
