Officials from the Taliban’s Department for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in Nangarhar province have announced that they burned 86 musical instruments in the city of Jalalabad. Taliban’s Morality Police acted as part of what they described as “reforming society, preventing immoral acts, and enforcing Islamic principles.”
