Taiwanese couple caught having sex on a train

A photo of a couple having sex on a train in Taiwan has gone viral on the internet, reports our sister paper China Times.

A Taiwanese internet user uploaded the photo and said that he had taken it while on a train bound for Taitung in eastern Taiwan in the evening of Sept. 7. The photo shows a man with his trousers and underwear pulled down in an incriminating position with a woman underneath him. The netizen added that the couple did not seem to care about their fellow passengers in the same car.

Responding to the photo, some netizens commented that they were surprised and joked that it is similar to Japanese porn films that feature sex on trains. Another netizen added that the train was merely the couple's "moving bed."

After receiving reports of the incident, staff were sent to intercept the couple at Taitung station, however none of the passengers came forward to testify as a witness. The couple was later escorted off the train for questioning and it was found that they both have mental health problems and carried disability ID.
