(Video) Roadside Stall In Kelantan Caught Selling Food Infested With Flies

Malaysians are no strangers to hygiene issues in local eateries. Previously, a woman was left feeling traumatised after she discovered frog eggs in her nasi lemak dish. Prior to that, another customer spotted a large rat munching on a fried chicken at a Mamak outlet in Pandan Indah.
This time, another food outlet was recently called out for serving unhygienic food to their customers. A post by a Malaysian TikToker named @izzmida_ went viral online. The incident reportedly took place at a bihun kuah roadside stall located at Pasir Mas, Kelantan. The woman in the video was horrified by the sight of flies landing on the food sold at the eatery.
To top it off, @izzmida_ further claimed that the workers at the restaurant just did nothing, and just let the swarm of pests land on the food. “Please keep your shop clean. Gosh, I swear this is so disgusting. How do they run their business when they don’t even know how to cover their food properly? Plus, the staff just turned a blind eye to the matter,” she wrote.
Netizens expressed shock at the revelation and urged authorities to take appropriate action against the restaurant owner. “This is why I don’t look buying food at roadside stalls,” one netizen wrote in the comments, “It’s best for us to thoroughly review the place first before purchasing food there,” another TikToker chimed in.
