Suspected drunk driver arrested after overturning truck at ECP
SINGAPORE: A man was arrested after the tipper truck he was driving overturned on Wednesday.
He was believed to have been drunk at the time of the incident.
Police said they were alerted to the incident shortly after 1pm.
The tipper truck - believed to have been carrying soil - flipped over along the ECP at the Changi Coast Road exit.
An eyewitness told Channel NewsAsia the overturned truck blocked almost all the lanes, causing a traffic jam.
No injuries were reported, and the truck driver is assisting the police with the investigations. - CNA/xq
