Hmmm.....It is not the amount you give that matters here. definitely not. Down right stupid to even think like that. How many people benefit from it , in what way the donor gave his TIME and put in effort to ensure unfortunate people benefit. That counts a lot.
Gates foundation is really a professional unit. It has operations in Africa and other parts of the world. It analysis the needs a community, the desperation levels and the urgency .
Example: Gates foundation has spent so much planning and effort to eradicate malaria in Africa..according to UN estimates, over 50 million children and adults lives were saved by this programme alone.
Secondly, gates charity is targeted at all people. No just a particular race or community.
Thirdly. Just throwing money into a charity organization ( for a particular community ) is the easy way out and also partisan. Because the donor knows he cannot take his wealth with him when he dies, he just throws the money into some organization. In such cases, the result is, like what happened in the NKF and Renchi cases. 10 cents to a dollar collected actually went to the poor and needy.
Bill gates is not that type. He and his wife puts in a lot of effort and time to plan out well thought out programmes , meant for all races and comm unties.
I wonder, how this Chinese Tycoon disbursed his charity amount of 1.2 billion.
