Serious Sukhoi 'hopes' to sign deal with Tata to manufacture airplane parts for Superjet

Russia's top aircraft manufacturer Sukhoi hopes to sign a partnership with Tata this year to manufacture key airplane parts for its 100-seat Superjet which it aims to market in India, an official said today.

Talks are at crucial stage with Tata Advanced System which will include outsourcing manufacturing of the aircraft parts, said Eugene Andrachnikou, senior Vice President for sales and marketing at Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA), producer of Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100).

good luck to future Suckhoi pilots. Tata cars were famous for problems arising from defective small parts like leaking seals, fragile rivets etc.

In fact, the company still has a very bad name because of their problems with Tata motors.

No problem. Plane made of parts from Tata for export sales only. So, if no sale to India, no orders from Tata. That is how you do business in India, not foolproof but surely loss-proof.
