Suggestion to end cpf woes and pmet employment crisis

There was a time when all pmets (singo or ep holders) got the same cpf.

Then the employers got cpf cancelled for ep holders, to suit their own ends.

This made the playing field totally in favor of ep holders since any business will hire them first. Cheaper etc.

So now lets do the following .....either everyone gets cpf or no one does.

Simple lah. VOTE THE PAP OUT.

What first needs to be done is to level the playing for the locals.

1) All Foreign workers including PRs pay tax and not CPF. SO when they balik kampong, they got nothing to take back. The good news in this is it makes revenue collection for the gahmen easier and reduce the work for the CPF. The tax rate is equivalent to the CPF amount + prevaling tax rate. So CPF contribution is 20% and high income pay lets say 20% tax...so that means total 40% tax they pay. PAP is so money face and this will help swell gahmen coffers and help cover up Hi JInx losses. Its also less work for the gahmen as they dont need to reimburse money etc when these FTs leave.

2) All employers of FTs,,,including the those under the quota pay a FT levy....The FT levy will be the 20% employer contribution etc + 1 month salary. This 1 mth salary is to acknowledge the fact that locals have reservist obligations,,,,so 1 mth levy should be ok. This 1 mth levy needs to be paid upfront upon the Permit being issued. SO if the FT quits after 1 mth,,the employer is out of pocket for 2 mths pay,,,of course the FT can opt to pay the employer,,,etc etc,,but all in all no lost to the gahmen in revenue and a local ends up being cheaper than an FT. win win for gahmen and the worker,,pap sure happy with this.

In Ozland, a foreign worker on work permit etc pays the higher marginal tax,,as compared to a local,,,,

No CPF for foreigners; but get employers to pay an equivalent amount into CPF to support the Medishield Life scheme.

Institute a levy of between 50% to 100%. Put into a fund to be distributed to unemployed Singaporeans at the end of the year.

Employers must also prove beyond any doubt they have tried their best to hire native Singaporeans for the last 6 months before offering the job to a foreigner. Legislate so that in a company 3 people, 1 of which must be an executive, will be responsible for enforcing this policy. Any violation or attempt to hoodwink will be punishable with no less than 2 years jail and 6 strokes of the cane, followed by deportation if it's a foreigner.

solution is to turn CPF into a pension fund for everyone,FTs must also contribute to pension fund,if they choose to fuck off from this country,be my guest but they lose all claims to the pension scheme.cut the contribution rate to 10%......raise interest rate to 4 to 6%....minimum years must work at least 10 in singapore in order to claim from pension scheme after age 60.

There should be some trade off for them....to come and live in a safe, clean country. They dont need to cash out big time when they leave....savings and periodic remittances should be enough.
