I am sure all these "welfare" expenses are a drop in the ocean for MNCs (if you compare to the expat pay and housing packages).

Coffee making machines, too complicating give the management headache....a K.I.S.S. one will do ( keep it simple stupid), even a 'kiss' one...there all still be clowns, with web fingers, will complain that the coffee maker, expresso machine or even the Beverage Bar....they are unable to comprehend & use...even you place cheapskate 3-1, with coffee mate, stirrer & hot water dispenser...there will be complaint...it takes all kind of clowns to make up this world...& the general average numbskulls belong to the 70%....don't believe go make a survey..

I think these are quite the standard in most office pantries. At my workplace, any staff can help themselves to these, and Yeo's packet drinks as well. But recently, I opened the fridge in the pantry, and discovered - BEER! Tiger, Anchor, and Carlsberg! And they are not for any celebration, but for refreshments! I checked with the HR and was told she was unaware of it. My only conclusion is - the boss put them there, and is quietly (or more accurately, sneakily) watching who will booze up during working hours. Although tempted, I stay away from the cold brewskis, and don't want to be seen as an alcoholic by colleagues. Bloody dastardly trick to play on workers man!

Just dwink the kopi, that's goo enough for me.
