IT WAS supposed to be a day when shops slash their prices and shoppers go out on a buying spree.
But Saturday's Boxing Day sales around town hardly got anyone excited - there were no crowds, no queues and no incessant ringing of cash registers.
The reason: Shoppers say they are suffering from shopping fatigue.
