"I caught the first man drinking a can of Heineken at McDonalds.

"The manager tried to tell him that it was not allowed, but he refused to comply. Even our local Chinese friends do not do this.

"The other one was also caught drinking alcohol at a McDonalds here. Some foreigners have no respect for our multi-religion society."

'Double-decker' on MRT -- auntie from China sits on her friend's lap

The STOMPer related the situation:

"These pictures were taken this morning (at around 7.45am) in the NEL train towards Harbourfront station.

"The lady (in green) boarded the train from Sengkang and her friend (in white) boarded from Hougang.

"When her friend boarded the train, the woman in green called her over.

"The friend then squeezed in next to her on that one seat. It seems like the lady who was next to them looked a bit pissed.

"Everyone was looking at them but they don't care. They still talked loudly and both of them were talking about the train stations since the one in green was holding an MRT network map.

"I don't know about how they take trains back in their homeland, maybe they can just squeeze in here and there.

"But this is in Singapore, so please be considerate about others as well."

Said the STOMPer:

"I was on the Sentosa Monorail carrying my 1-year-old kid and standing in front of a prority seat.

"There was this China national guy sitting on it, and he did not bother to give up the seat even though I was standing in front of him carrying my kid.

"At the next stop, a young China lady came in. She was neither pregnant nor did she have any kid with her.

"Instead the China guy gave up the seat to her.

"I am pretty disappointed and disgusted with this act by a foreigner in Singapore.

"It seems like it is 'FT for FT' and I guess this is something which all of us Singaporeans may experience also.

"As a foreign talent, they come over to Singapore to make a living, and shouldn't they respect what our Singapore government advocates?

"The giving up of seats in public is to allow the Singapore society to be a more gracious one, and the FT are not respecting this at all.

"Such an act may even lead to many Singaporeans to develop more negative feelings which can be explained by: 'FT are already competing with Singaporeans for jobs, and now they even want to compete with us for seats on public transport!'"

He says that 3 employees had earphones plugged in and talked rudely to them when they ordered.

"I was with my friends at Suntec looking for dinner yesterday (Aug 19) and we went into this Korean eating house.

"The service staff were all PRC ladies, and 3 of them were wearing earphones listening to music.

"When taking orders, the staff member in the photo was very rude!

"It was as if we had disrupted her from listening to music!

"Although she spoke to us in Mandarin, this is was it sounded like in English: WHAT YOU WANT? ANYTHING ELSE?

"She slid the kimchi to us without bothering if it would land in front of us or on the floor.

"It was a very bad experience and my friends and I will never visit this place again!

"FTs are degrading service standards!"

When the STOMPer complained to the minimart's boss, he told her that foreign workers were 'hard to find' and that if the shop assistant left, he would have trouble finding other workers to help him.

The STOMPer described the incidents in detail:

"Last Saturday, Aug 13 at about noon, I went to a minimart in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 to buy some fruits and groceries.

"I took two bags of oranges and I saw a carton of pears outside the shop. I asked the shop assistants for help but everyone was so busy at that time and no one helped me.

"So, I picked up a plastic bag and took five big pears.

"A shop assistant (a female in her mid 20s from Myanmar) snatched away my bag of pears.

"She raised her voice at me and was grumbling away. I told her nicely that I want to buy five big pears for prayers.

"She wouldn't allow me to take the five pears. She asked me to take the smaller ones instead.

"I told her I would pay according to the weight and not according to the size. But she refused and scolded me. She was very rude to me.

"I told her to be more flexible and since I want to buy the bigger ones, why not? After all, it was still business for them, right?

"On my way to the cashier, she shouted at me and said 'I curse you die faster, die early and best of all die in a car accident'. Everyone at the shop was shocked, including myself.

"I told the lady boss about this but she did not ask the shop assistant to apologise to me.

"What kind of attitude and service is this? Why must customers be bullied by foreign workers?

"I have patronised this shop for more than 10 years. I buy groceries and veggies from them every day and spend $500 with them every month. The female assistant only joined them about one and a half year ago.

"Yesterday (Aug 17), on my way back from the market at about 1.15pm, I saw the same person sitting at a void deck. She saw me and became abusive again.

"I called her boss and told him about the incident.

"The boss said, 'It's very hard to find foreign workers now, if she leaves, I can't find workers to work for me.'

"Is he trying to tell me that I have to tolerate the bad behaviour from his worker?

"Their service is very bad and attitude is wrong. I can't tolerate this."

The STOMPer says that they have been sleeping at the void deck every day for the past month.

The STOMPer said:

"Have seen this large group of foreign workers sleeping at the void deck daily for the past one month or more.

"Why are they not given a proper dormitory to stay in?

"This picture was taken early this morning after sending my son to school."
