SINGAPORE - Singapore's February retail sales rose a seasonally adjusted 10.5 per cent from January, due to stronger car sales, government data showed on Wednesday.

[/FONT]Excluding motor vehicles, retail sales declined a seasonally adjusted 3.0 per cent from January, according to the Department of Statistics' retail sales index.
Compared with a year ago, February retail sales fell 5.7 per cent, hurt by a 25.8 per cent drop in food and beverages sales. -- REUTERS
