Qi YuwuJoanne Peh
Just like that, it's been more than a decade since celeb couple Qi Yuwu and Joanne Peh tied the knot.
On Saturday (Aug 30), which also happened to be Chinese Valentine's Day, the 46-year-old Mediacorp actor dedicated an Instagram post to his wife.
"On this day 11 years ago, she said yes. We're very happy today, she had two glasses [of wine], she smiles and gets happy every time she drinks," he wrote in his caption.
The couple got married in September 2014 and have two children - a daughter, nicknamed Mimi, 10, and a son, eight.
Yuwu also posted a video of Joanne, 42, looking blissfully smitten sitting opposite him at the dinner table in a restaurant.
In the video, Joanne first asked her husband if her hair looked bad. When he told her she looked great, Joanne then said in Mandarin: "Qing ren yan li chu xi shi!". The Chinese saying translates to "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder".
Yuwu, however, rained on her parade by saying: "But you're not my 'qing ren' (lover)".
Surprised by her hubby's response, Joanne exclaimed: "Huh? You'll forever be my lover!".
The actor went on to explain that Joanne is his "wife, not lover", but she did not like the sound of that.
"I don't want, I want to be your lover. Lovers are more ambiguous," she gushed.
"Lovers are always more exciting. [Being someone's] Wife is not as exciting. Lovers are like, 'Wow, ooh~'," she reiterated with a slight shimmy.
That was also when Joanne realised Yuwu had been recording her the entire time.
"Oh no, I thought you were taking a picture," she gasped.
"Oh dear, you actually recorded everything I said just now. I don't want to say anything anymore," lamented Joanne, who used her fingers to form a cross over her mouth.
Though Yuwu seemingly didn't react to what his wife said there and then, he did get a little more sentimental when posting the video.
"She says she wants to be my lover, perhaps it's to find back the passion we had when we were dating. I think she's right, it's difficult, but very important," wrote Yuwu.
"Today is Chinese Valentine's Day, may all love be long-lasting but forever fresh," he added.

Just look at how enamoured Joanne was

Happy anniversary Joanne and Yuwu!
