People go to IKEA to shop for furniture, but this man 'shops' for food
An old man who was seen scavenging for leftovers at a cafe inside an IKEA furniture store tugged at STOMPer lynn's hearstrings, after she came across the old man doing this on three occasions.

"In my past three visits to IKEA, I saw this old man who was alone. He seemed to be gathering leftovers from the food tray counters discreetly before going to a table to eat it.
"The first time I saw him, I offered to buy him a meal but he turned me down politely by saying that his medical problems makes it difficult for him to eat much. I thought he just didn't want our help since he sounded a little bit awkward then
"The next time I was there, I saw him again so I went up to him and insisted on buying a bowl of soup for him, which he accepted reluctantly. After walking away, I saw him mixing the soup with plain water at the counter, probably to make the portion bigger to fill his stomach.
"I was there again yesterday and I saw him picking up leftovers and eating it with a small packet of rice that was wrapped in a worn-out plastic bag.
"It's saddening to see him in such a plight; that these poor old people are actually within our midst."
