Social network accounts sunk by new software
Sunday 10th October, 2010
A Dutch company has developed software which can destroy all posts and personal information from Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace and Twitter accounts.
Some 3,000 people have already used the free programme with another 90,000 on the waiting list to erase Facebook friends and tweets from a computer.
With counsellors warning obsessions with networking sites and computer games may be socially dangerous and a breach of privacy, the Web 2.0 Suicide Machine takes just 52 minutes to fully wipe out the networking accounts.
