Why is bus with deflated tyre still allowed to pick up passengers?

deflated_tyres-thumbnail.jpg

STOMPer Popcorncaramel spotted a bus with a deflated tyre while he was driving to Clementi.

Said the STOMPer:

"When I was driving towards Clementi yesterday, I saw a bus with one of its tyres deflated

"I think that it is dangerous for a bus with deflated tyres to pick up passengers as it may threaten the passengers' safety.

"It may cause accidents if the bus lose control over the tyres.

"I hope SMRT will take more precaution as safety comes first."
