SINGAPORE: The High Court has sentenced two former Singapore Land Authority employees Friday for pilfering S$12.2 million from the statutory board.

Koh Seah Wee, 41, a former SLA deputy director was sentenced to 22 years imprisonment for cheating and money laundering.

Koh's then-subordinate and accomplice, Christopher Lim Chai Meng, 38, was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.

surely some form of plea bargaining ?...otherwise, they won't plead guilty so fast.

22 yr ...1/3 remission for good behavior, he'll be out 15 year...

i recall the case was pending for a long time.
