Ever since Old Fart's beloved Son ascended the dragon throne, Sinkie peasants have been expecting better standards of living. They expect their purchasing power to increase and costs of living to come down.

Only a few days ago Sinkies were told that their sovereign wealth fund, GIC, hasn't had a stellar performance all these years. What the fcuk!!

Just today, in the state-controlled print media, Sinkies were told to expect more layoffs to take place in the coming months. What the fcuk!!

Conclusion: Sinkies have been expecting pr** (progress) but all they have been getting is more pr** (promises).
