Hubby and wife caught stealing neighbour's shoes: One even grabs entire rack

The man and woman caught on CCTV stealing STOMPer uger's shoes were none other than her next-door neighbours, who are husband and wife. The man even left with an entire rack of shoes.

In the first video, the man was seen loitering outside the unit with a cigarette in his mouth, before making away with a whole rack of shoes.

In another video, a woman was seen grabbing a pair of sports shoes before entering a unit in the condominium.

Said the STOMPer:

"The man and the woman are husband and wife and they are my immediate neighbours, living right next door to me at Evergreen Park.

"Since they moved here, they were not happy that we had a shoe rack mounted on the wall outside our unit. My husband took it down, but they were still not happy that we left some of our belongings outside our unit, telling us that since they bought a corridor unit, the corridor and the wall belongs to them, even though we did not place our things in front of their apartment.

"The woman stole our shoes but as for the guy, we found our shoe rack at the recycle bin on the ground floor.

"When we made a police report, the woman said she was drunk when stole our shoes."

Why couple took neighbour's shoes: They left so much 'rubbish' on corridor

A couple was caught on CCTV taking shoes that belonged to their neighbour. However, STOMPer Nigel explained that they did that because their neighbour was noisy and left 'rubbish' and 'smelly shoes' outside their door.

On Feb 28, STOMPer uger sent in two videos of his neighbours stealing shoes that were placed outside his unit.

Today (Mar 8), Nigel tells us his side of the story:

"Imagine waking up to 'nuisance noise' in the morning, followed by...the imitation of animal sounds. Next, the banging of doors, and finally when you walk out of your main door, you are greeted by the stench of smelly shoes and rubbish all over the front of your door.

"The best part of all: The objects were found on your side of the unit when it was supposed to be us who should put our shoe rack there. However, for the sake of being tidy and some other reasons we decided not to do that.

"We are not fussy, but tell me if this is too much, When the size of the corridor is already so limited. Your views regarding this issue please.

"One of the two sound clips is of the neighbour scolding us because we did not pick up the husband's phone call. Who picks up phone calls in the middle of the night? Of course our phone will be silent at 3am. Wonder why they are not yet sleeping?

"The other is the slamming of doors every morning and the blowing of party blowers, followed by the imitation of animal sounds. I'm really glad I moved out. On a lighter note, my current neighbour is so much better. :)

"One of the images I attached is their balcony which is facing the carpark... have a look at the amount of things piling up. I wonder if strong winds will cause these things to fall and land on top of the cars -- which is why I never ever park my cars there. Aren't they like 'garang gunis'?

"Also please note the picture where there is a TV and other rubbish -- who puts a TV outside the house except a 'garang guni'? It wasn't there initially...it only happened after we complained to security and the neighbours began taking out more things. I don't know what's wrong with them seriously.

"PS: I would like to clarify regarding the SMS, 'IT'S OK WIF US, E WAR WILL START AGAIN IT WIL NEVER END'. Did it ever cross anybody's mind what was the SMS they sent to us before our reply?

"As that happened such a longggggg time ago, I did not keep the SMS but they told us, 'If u complain to security some more..we will put more rubbish all over the corridor..you want war we will give you war'. Which is why we replied like that.

"However, I don't believe they actually kept it till today. It's really kind of hilarious. It's like a thief shouting to catch another thief.

"Initially I did not want to post any pictures and clips of their 'unglam' language as it seems really childish. We are all grown-ups. However it seems like the situation is getting out of hand with the press.

"If I really did steal stuff and threatened them the police would have arrested me long ago. In fact most of the things posted in the papers are done by them not us.

"Our doors were also scratched first by them because we repainted the door when we moved in three years back and immediately after complaining to security regarding the shoe rack, there was one big 'X' on our door.

"I do not want to cause any trouble but I would just like to clarify on my part as well as to let the public know about this as I really feel offended and insulted over things that I did not do at all.

"Furthermore we had already moved out long ago and now they bring it up again and again. I cannot tolerate this anymore, the story is getting more and more warped."
