Yesterday I saw tons of messages in the afternoon from people I follow on my Twitter, asking to check up on their friend.

This friend was a curator on @hellofrmsg before so I was quite shocked to see how come she's threatening to kill herself. Her friends were retweeting her address and asking whoever is in the area to check up on her.

(@hellofrmsg is a twitter account where different people take on and talk about Singapore stuff)

Not long later, I started seeing lotsa Yahoo sg bashing going on. Apparently, they took what happened and made it into a story

Later on, her friends got EVEN MORE furious when they found out... Yahoo called the police on her and now the friend is arrested.

Friends were furious because they say Yahoo lied

Should Yahoo have called the police? I feel that is the correct thing to do. If someone's in trouble, it doesn't matter if you are a friend or not, you act. But this is amazing also to see how social media saved someone. The reaction time was so fast!

These nut jobs shouldn't be saved. It'll give them the opportunity to procreate.

Expect her to be charged in court. Once police and SCDF's resources are utilised, AGC seldom concur with a warning.

people who really want to committe suicide would never tell anybody about their suicide plan.
