Singapore proposes legal change to ensure consensual exchange of obscene adult material is not criminalised​

SINGAPORE: Singapore is moving to ensure that consensual and private sending of obscene objects depicting adults will not be criminalised.

Under a suite of proposed changes to the country’s criminal law, enhanced penalties will also apply to cases of obscene objects showing minors under 18 years old, up from the current 16.
